The photograph depicts Taylor in jeans and a tank top standing in a garage with a row of tools hanging on the wall behind him. The photo was taken while Taylor and Carly Simon were renovating their new home on Martha's Vineyard. This is one of the Seeff's best known images and dates from early in his career.
