Frank Sinatra recording at Capitol Records. Sinatra was recording his classic album Songs for Swinging Lovers at KHJ Studios in Hollywood, CA. Songs for Swingin' Lovers! was Sinatra’s fourth album for Capitol Records, it was arranged by Nelson Riddle and released in March 1956.

Frank Sinatra, born on December 12, 1915, in Hoboken, New Jersey, was one of the most iconic American singers and entertainers of the 20th century. He began his music career in the swing era with the Harry James and Tommy Dorsey orchestras in the 1930s. Sinatra's smooth voice, charisma, and impeccable phrasing set him apart.

In the 1940s, he embarked on a solo career, and his popularity soared. Nicknamed "Ol' Blue Eyes," Sinatra became known for his romantic ballads, such as "I've Got You Under My Skin" and "My Way," and his signature song "New York, New York." He also ventured into acting, winning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1954 for his role in "From Here to Eternity."

Sinatra continued to dominate the music industry for decades, achieving critical and commercial success. His influence extended beyond music, as he became a cultural icon, known for his Rat Pack associations with Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr., as well as his involvement in political and social causes. Frank Sinatra passed away on May 14, 1998, but his legacy as one of the greatest entertainers in history endures.
