Mark A Philips is a photographer based near London, UK. His studies have taken me from engineering to researching complex ecosystems to undertaking long-term investigations of contemporary issues. His long-term projects document stories about the environment and sustainability, and about those working to find solutions to our current challenges. Recent projects explore the climate crisis and the importance of repair and reuse, with a combination of news publications, exhibitions, photobooks and zines to advocate for repair. He is currently working on a project to study Europe’s enclaves. His work has been published online and in print in major newspapers and magazines, and at festivals and solo and group exhibitions in UK, Italy, Netherlands and USA.
