An unmissable collection of previously unseen images chronicling the over 40 year creative partnership between legendary musician Joni Mitchell and celebrated rock and roll photographer Norman Seeff. Showing a unique perspective into the life and spirit of the artist behind hits 'Help Me' and 'Big Yellow Taxi' and shot in over a dozen sessions across more than a decade, Seeff captures the many facets of her personality in this gorgeously presented hardback book. Timed to release on Joni's 75th birthday, this combination of album artwork and candid shots features commentary from Seeff reflecting on the mutual creativity between artist and muse.

Norman Seeff, a prolific music, fashion and celebrity photographer, has documented over 500 sessions with artists including Ray Charles, Kiss, Steve Jobs, Will.i.am, Tina Turner and Alicia Keys. Before the release of Joni: The Joni Mitchell Sessions, Seeff published Sessions (1988) and Hot Shots (1974), which was awarded the New York Art Directors Club Gold Medal for photography in 1988.
