SPONSOR / VALENTINE'S PERSONALISED CHAMPAGNE PIAFF

The perfect personalised gift: Champagne PIAFF’s all-new bottle engraving feature

Champagne PIAFF, the first champagne house to have emerged in over 50 years, has launched a bottle engraving feature!

Customers can order bottles with a customised message from the Champagne PIAFF website. The engraving feature is available on each of Champagne PIAFF’s cuvees; Brut, Brut Rosé and Blanc de Blancs, and is the perfect personalised Valentine’s Day gift.

Each of the three PIAFF Champagnes are fresh and crisp with a low sugar dosage, making them a vibrant easy drinker.

The Brut, priced at £42 (£47 customised), is elegant yet lively, with initial brioche aromas leading to pear and apple notes highlighted by a persistent mousse.

A delightful and generous summertime champagne, the Rosé boasts fresh strawberry aromas with a hint of cassis, leading to elements of red fruits and strawberry on the palate. The Rosé is available for £52. (£57 Customised)

At the top of the PIAFF range and available for £70 (£75 Customised), The Blanc de Blancs highlights soft floral notes on the nose, with a hint of almonds and fresh hazelnuts. It provides superb structure and length on the palate, introducing white fruits in balance with a pleasing minerality and undertones of brioche.

While both the Brut and the Rosé are made of a combination of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, The Blanc de Blancs is made purely from Chardonnay.

The grapes are sourced from La Vallée de la Marne and the Côte de Blancs, while the champagne itself is aged in the Champagne PIAFF cellars in Epernay, right in the heart of the Champagne region. Inspired by his Grandfather, Benoni Mansard, PIAFF’s Master winemaker, Maxime Mansard, combines the expertise and knowledge of his ancestors with a youthful mindset to create a modern, vibrant style of champagne.

The name PIAFF originates from the French word ‘Piaffe’ – a movement used in battle to keep horses warm and ready to move. As time has passed, however, it has become better known as a Grand Prix, cadenced, dressage move, where a horse rhythmically moves diagonally, with its opposite hooves in perfect synchronisation, moving but giving the impression it is remaining in the same place.

To reflect its origins the Champagne PIAFF logo features a horse, while incorporating bright and clean branding citing the modernity and vibrancy of both the brand and the juice.

Today, Champagne PIAFF can be found at several well-known restaurants such as the Mount Juliet Hotel in County Kilkenny and Tim Allen’s So-Lo restaurant. It is available to purchase on the Champagne PIAFF website, as well as through Amathus and Master of Malt.
